Rena Jacobson, Au.D., CCC-A, Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Jacobson brings over 25 years of experience to her patients, previously working in a multi-office ophthalmology and hearing services practice as well as a clinical audiologist for ENT physicians.
She was thrilled and proud to open her private practice in 2014 where she delights her customers with cookies and Lindt chocolates. Her patients come first - always. She most enjoys when her customers tell her "I should have done this years ago".
Always fascinated by anatomy and physiology, Dr. Jacobson is eager to provide her patients and their families with the highest quality of hearing health care available. She pays exceptional attention to her patients’ unique amplification needs and cosmetic concerns. Everything she does is designed around her patients need for individual care specializing in hearing aids, counseling and Real-Ear.
Dr. Jacobson received her B.S. from Worcester State College and her M.A. at the University of Massachusetts - Amherst. She went on to receive her doctorate in audiology from The Pennsylvania College of Optometry, School of Audiology. She is proud to be a member of The American Academy of Audiology, and a certified member of The American Speech and Hearing Association. She was also a SouthCoast - Best of the Best finalist 2018 & 2019.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Jacobson is busy with her two dogs and three cats and giving back to her community.
